EDDIE Dunlap
Eddy Dunlap is a studio pedal steel and multi instrumentalist who moved from Paducah to Nashville after graduating high school and has since been active on the road and in the studio. He has recorded with Luke Bryan, Jon Pardi, William Michael Morgan, John Michael Montgomery, Russell Dickerson, Jon Langston, and various songwriters and publishing. Eddie anderson
From Paducah, Kentucky. Moved to Nashville when he was seventeen years old and became a studio drummer by the time he was twenty-two. He has played on numerous records for artists such as: Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, B.J. Thomas, Dottie West, Earl Scruggs, Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Ronnie McDowell, and Joe Tex. He's toured with several artists throughout the years, including: Dolly Parton, Ricky Van Shelton, and Patty Loveless. |
Tommy Davenport
Tommy Davenport began playing guitar at an early age. Inspired by the likes of Chet Atkins, Merle Travis, and Duane Eddy, he played numerous solo acts during his grade school days. All through high school, he played lead guitar in a couple of Pop bands, around central K. All the while, teaching private guitar classes. He began playing in a country band in Germany while in the Army. He played a year there with Willie B’ and the Drifters Caravan. He later hooked up with Willie, and they played a number of years in and around the Kentucky area. Tommy also had a solo TV show on a local station ‘Coffee And Country’ as well as having a LIVE bluegrass radio program ‘Goodness Grassious Alive’, that he played for 3 years . He later spent 12 years as lead guitar of the Lincoln Jamboree in Hodgenville, Ky. Tommy taught guitar privately for 30 years, including a few years at Campbellsville University School of Music. Tommy plays many styles of music, but, the country style is still certainly one of his favorites. |

Terry wariner
Currently resides in Russell Springs Kentucky and began his musical career with Bob Lumen in 1978. When his brother Steve hit the country music scene in the early 1980's, Terry lent his musical talents to two Grammy winning albums and several other #1 charting albums. He joins Green River Live as lead singer, rhythm, lead and bass guitar player and drummer. Terry's extensive background with the Steve Wariner Band provided him the opportunity of playing to sell-out crowds at the Grand Ole Opry and many other venues worldwide. Green River Live is extremely fortunate and very proud to welcome Terry to our new and exciting venue. |
Anita Stapleton
Anita is the lead singer for the Heart of Kentucky Band. A great Country and Gospel singer. She toured with Patty Loveless for about four years. She worked on Grand Ole Opry, Monty Stewart Show, Larry Black’s Country Dinner and many other shows worldwide. She has a duet with Gene Watson, “Just Someone I Used to Know.” |

Gail Rudisill Johnson
Started playing violin at the age of 5 in Illinois. At 14, she found a love for fiddling. In 1995, Gail earned a Bachelor of Music (emphasis on violin performance) with an outside minor-music business at Belmont University. Starting in 1996,she toured All over the world and performed on the Grand Ole Opry with Bill Anderson. She still performs with various bluegrass groups and has played on many recording sessions with country and gospel artists such as Gene Watson, John Conlee, BJ Thomas, Bill Anderson, and many more. Gail has also authored a beginning fiddle book for the Music Sales company in New York titled The Absolute Beginners Guide to Fiddle. Since her children were born 16 years ago, she has dedicated her week days to teaching lessons both group and private lessons. She likes to spend spare time taking her students and her own children to music and dance competitions as well as performing with her kids. |
Dirk Johnson
Dirk Johnson started playing the piano at 2 years old. He was born with perfect pitch and would play everything his older brother was learning in piano lessons after hearing it once. He started working at 9 years old selling organs for the mall and playing funerals as well as the entertainer at the Bonanza steak house. He was producing, playing on, and engineering records in southwest Virginia by age 13 with many popular acts such as Jim and Jesse, Ralph Stanley, and countless gospel Players. A successful session player, band leader, composer, engineer, & producer, in 30-plus years as a professional musician, Johnson's talents can be heard on more than 100 #1 and top ten records. Honored to play at the Country Music Hall of Fame induction ceremonies of both Floyd Cramer & Hargus "Pig" Robbins, he's also in the ICGMA Hall Of Fame, was Studio Musician of The Year in 2000, Instrumentalist of The Year in 2005, received the Keystone award in 2013 & has received many gold & platinum albums honoring his work with various artists like Alan Jackson for grammy award winning "Don't Rock The Jukebox". Now, building his own label, DirkWorks Productions & publishing, DirkWorks Music/BMI, he produces many new artists and country legend, Gene Watson, is 21 year pianist for the tv show Country Music's Family Reunion, pianist for the award-winning band 45 RPM, & continues as a session musician & band leader. He was a band regular on The Nashville Network tv shows: You Can Be A Star, Nashville Now, Charlie Daniels Talent Roundup, Play It Again Nashville, Florence Henderson’s Country Kitchen, etc. He's composed theme songs for network tv shows & was producer, band leader & mixing engineer for the song & video, Together We Can, commissioned by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. He began touring on weekends at age 9 with gospel groups, until at fifteen, Kenny Hinson, of The Hinsons hired him. He moved to Nashville just before turning 17 & played on two #1 records that first month. He co-produced The Hinsons' last album before Kenny's passing, One More Hallelujah, resulting in two #1 hits & a top ten single. He has worked with countless greats including The Crabb Family, Dottie Rambo, The Gaither Vocal Band, Keith Whitley, Dolly Parton, Darryl Singletary etc. |
